Imeco has been created in March 1987 to propose mechanical erection and maintenance services on site for clients working in petrochemical industry.
By the end of 1987, Imeco, who employs about 15 people, makes the acquisition of former "Ateliers de Cornillon" , worshop situated in Grâce-Hollogne nearby Liege Airport and transfers its registered office to its new plant. Number of workers reachs then 40 persons and first projects combining manufacturing and installation are carried out in early 1988.
So organised, Imeco is capable to manage global industrial project : study, workshop manufacturing and on site erection. Projects are held more widely over Belgium and some contracts have even been obtained abroad (France, Germany, Luxembourg).
After several investments (buildings, machines, personnel), Imeco employs now about 70 people on its Grâce-Hollogne site which offices and workshop cover 6.000m².
Imeco is now a relevant and experienced technical partner in several industrial activities : steel, extraction, cement, plastics, paper, chemistry, electricity production, aeronautics, glass, ...
